Create an open literature manual

- August 14, 2011 in cookbook, Literature

The idea is to create a manual to give guidance on how to use and release literature data into the open ecosystem. I see it as possibly partially a cookbook as to how to do it as well as the Panton Principles as applied to literature - srot of how to and why to... combined. It would be a resource to creators and hackers as well as continuingthe conversation that began at Textcamp11. It could reside on the wiki.openliterature.net site as a community reference and then the creation and discussions would also be in the open.

Open Humanities hackday

- May 31, 2011 in Hackday, humanities

A hackday to look at various humanities projects / data sets and to develop some tools or ideas about them. For example, we could build an interface to Open Correspondence to allow it to be updated with linked data from DBpedia or to allow users to generate their own graphs and visualisations of the data.
